The master plan of Pioneer Park was designed to include a community center, two major league baseball fields, basketball courts, a playground, a tennis center, concession buildings, outdoor plazas, boat ramps and trails along Hillsboro Canal to be integrated into a regional trail system. With the renovation of this park, the city provides the public with a broad range of educational and recreational opportunities and space that would greatly improve residents’ quality of life.
